Have you ever known someone who is unable to sit still? Someone who is always trying new things, and is continually saying "I bet I could make that"? Guilty. Guilty. Guilty.

If I don't have a project, I'm not happy. I am inherently driven by a NEED to MAKE. It's both wonderful and probably truly annoying to those around me. If I'm not making things for you, I start tearing out walls, painting things, ripping up flooring, or building something in the garage.

Let's be honest, those kinds of things get pretty expensive, and create a pretty big mess. My husband really prefers it if I keep busy sewing things and sending them out to my Etsy friends around the country.

So that's what I do. The best part of "making" for me is the design process. The "OH, I have an IDEA", then making it into a real object. I've had more failures than I care to admit, but one thing is for sure, I'm constantly thinking of new things to share. Most of them don't make the cut, but a select few come here.

I'm inspired by everything around me. I have notes everywhere (I'm not very organized like most artsy folks) of things that might be cool. So, stay tuned, you just never know what's coming next.

The name JuJuRoo is a combination of my childrens' first names...Julia, Jude and Ruby (a.k.a. Roo).
